We travelled all the way from Leeds to try Poor Boys food after seeing them on social media. We arrived around 4pm on the Saturday. There was a queue already formed but a waitress seated us immediately as we were happy to sit outside. There were great patio heater in the garden so felt lovely and warm. Our drinks order was taken immediately and our food was brought out swiftly. The staff were so incredibly friendly, kind and thoughtful. The food was gorgeous. We ordered a variety of oysters, burnt ends, po boys sandwich’s, mac n cheese, onion rings, chilli poppers. Every single dish was on point. Stunning presentation, huge portions and it all tasted lush. All in all we had a fantastic time. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Poor Boys. Delicious food and wonderful staff. Thank you.

Super tasty American food, with extremely massive portion sizes. I’d highly recommend the Shrimp Po Boy and fried pickles. Queue was long when we arrived and waited in line for 45 minutes, and food was served in takeaway boxes.

Had a nice meal, loads of fried items, tasty food. Had beef doughnuts and fried chicken… big portions. The milkshake was nice and thick but the caramel flavour was weak. It was a nice lunch, glad I tried it, but it’s not going to become a regular for me. Must add the service is really good and very friendly. The bar stools outside are a bit uncomfortable.

Great Atmosphere and super friendly staff! We went as a group for our friends birthday and was very well accommodated by the staff and they even secretly agreed to bring out the birthday cake with candles after the meal (we brought the cake and candles for the occasion they were not provided). The food was amazing as usual, my friends have testified that this is the best mac n cheese they have ever had and the dirty fries were also top notch! Personally the short rib was immaculate and the beef brisket donuts were also amazing! The portion sizes were very generous and most of us had leftovers to take home. The food was on the pricey side but for the taste and experience I would say it's well worth it, especially if you are dining as a group and trying a bit of everything; In a group of 7 we ended up spending around £30 each.

Visited for the 1st time and ordered a meat sharer, mac n cheese and boo fries. Food was delicious , served in single use containers. Came with lots of sauces but any extra will be charged. The waitress was nice and smiley but they were severely understaffed as service was slow. I would go back just for the food.
